How do I rent a storage unit?
It’s easy! Just call us 440.286.3653 and we can rent you one right over the phone.
What size storage units do you have available?
We know finding the right storage unit is like finding the perfect pair of shoes—it’s got to be just the right fit. Whether you’re downsizing, decluttering, or just need a little extra space, we’ve got you covered with a variety of sizes that’ll fit your stuff like a glove (or, you know, a really spacious glove). Here’s what we offer:
- 6′ x 10′ – Got a few boxes, a bike, or maybe some seasonal decor that needs a home away from home? This cozy unit is perfect for the essentials.
- 10′ x 10′ – The Goldilocks of storage units—not too big, not too small, but just right! Ideal for storing the contents of a one-bedroom apartment, including furniture, appliances, and those knick-knacks you just can’t part with.
- 10′ x 15′ – Need a bit more room? This one’s got your back. Think two-bedroom apartment-sized with space for furniture, a couple of mattresses, and even that treadmill you swore you’d use every day but now mostly serves as a clothes hanger.
- 10′ x 20′ – For those of you with big plans (or just a lot of stuff). This unit can handle a three-bedroom home’s worth of goods. Furniture, boxes, the kids’ outgrown toys—bring it on!
- 10′ x 30′ – And for the truly space-savvy, we present the big kahuna! This spacious beauty can store the contents of a four-bedroom house, vehicles, or even your cousin’s questionable art collection. Bonus: it’s got doors on both ends, so no need to play Tetris when you’re loading up!
No matter what size you choose, we’re here to make sure your belongings are snug as a bug in a rug. Got questions? Drop us a line, or swing by for a tour. We can’t wait to help you find the perfect fit!

How much storage space do I need?
We have a variety of sizes to suit your needs. Here is a helpful guide.
Can I store my car?
Yes you can store vehicles like cars and motorcycles as well as equipment like tractors or snow blowers. For cars, we recommend at least a 10×20.
What lock do you recommend?
This is one of the most common questions we receive. While no lock is 100% fool proof, we recommend the Master Lock MD50XD Outdoor Padlock.
Here’s why:
- Tough-Cut Shackle: Designed to resist cutting and sawing.
- Weather Resistant: Built to withstand the elements.
- Stainless Steel Body: For maximum strength, reliability, and corrosion resistance.

Do you need renter's insurance to rent a storage unit?
At Home & Business Storage, we won’t twist your arm about getting renter’s insurance, but we highly recommend it! It’s like an extra cozy blanket of protection for your stuff, and who doesn’t love a little extra coziness?
The good news? Your current homeowner’s or renter’s policy might already have you covered. But, before you kick back, give your insurance provider a quick call to double-check—better safe than sorry, right? Keep your treasures safe and sound, and rest easy knowing you’ve got it all handled.
